Bill and Stephanie are as good a match as they come. Both work in the same profession, both graduated at the top of their class, and they are clearly in love. When I shot their wedding a few weeks back the weather was gorgeous. September certainly made up for the sunshine we didn’t get during “summer”. They opted to do a first look for their photos (for anyone who doesn’t know what that is – essentially it’s an opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony and share those first moments as soon-to-be husband and wife together). It’s a GREAT idea as it allows the couple to relax and gives them a few moments completely alone together. Bill and Stephanie did their first look at Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre and it couldn’t have been better! The look of anticipation on Stephanie’s face while she waited for Bill to come down the stairs summarizes why I love photography. The ability to capture such a special moment in someone’s life is priceless.

Bill and Stephanie – thanks for bringing me along to document your wedding day! I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Greece! Mad jealous!

Anglican Cathedral in St. John's is by far my favorite church to shoot in. The light is gorgeous and THAT FLOOR!!!!

Another great reason to get married in late summer....the light! by the time Bill and Stephanie's ceremony was over it was almost 5 so the sun was much lower in the sky.....makes for photo goodness! :)
