I visited Beaumont Hamel on November 11, 2010 and needless to say it's a day that change my perspective on the First World War - particularly as a Newfoundlander. I'd heard the stories and read the books, but nothing can do it justice. It's just one of those places you have to visit to fully understand. 95  years ago today - Lest We Forget.
